We start our ten-step process with Our Drill Down Chat. We carve out two – three hours to understand the full brief. What’s important to our clients? How do they like to live? Where have they been or what have they seen that they love? We also understand their daily routines and everyone’s practical requirements to make sure our designs are as efficient as possible. Finally, how do they want to feel as they move from space to space and what is the driving force behind the project? We then take full inventories of what is being re-used in the spaces, whether that’s art, furniture, or special accessories. And from there we work our magic.

The success of every great Luxury Interior Design project is all in the planning. The first step to this is executing the spatial planning and design direction. During stages two and three we create detailed layouts and conceptual designs for every space in the project. This phase of the project is all about the nitty gritty details. Once the layout is final, we can see how we want to light each space and each feature. We design circuits for lighting and all the electrical placements and requirements, and we include automation for our high-end clients. Heating and mechanical additions are added, integrated and hidden.
We provide endless elevations for kitchens, utilities, boot rooms, pantries, bathrooms and all bespoke joinery and wall features.
Our Interior Scope of Work collates every interior detail and selection for the principal contractor to follow and quote from. We arrange interior shopping trips for our clients. This is an exciting way to visualise and experience the interior details going into the project and we collate samples and images for every finish to show our clients at the presentation meeting.

Sadie Pizzey Interiors uses specialised software to manage all the costs, orders, and deliveries for every interior design component. We collate these costs to present to our clients to enable them to be in control of their budget. Then adapt our design until our clients are comfortable with the total spend.
We select a large percentage of trade products into our designs. This leads to unique purchases that aren’t commonly seen and we are also have access to trade pricing, which we share with our clients.
Although our design fees represent the amount of work and time that goes into each project, we do save our clients money. Not only through the trade products, but also through clever, innovative design. This allows us to invest the budget where it’s needed and employ smart design tricks to stretch the budget in other areas. Renovations take a lot of knowledge and skills and if you attempt a project without those skills, you will make costly mistakes.

We ensure that all contractors working on the interiors of your project have a package of drawings and specifications to ensure they know what to install, where and how. We also carry out regular site visits to chat to contractors, talk through each stage of the design as they reach critical stages of your renovation and solve problems on site as they arise.

Interior Design Managing Orders & Deliveries.
In any renovation project there are multiple sub-contractors and hundreds of items that all need to be ordered and installed in time with the build schedule.
Once the principal contractor has completed the build schedule it is our job to communicate with additional sub-contractors to book them in for the appropriate stages of the build.
We also build out the ordering schedule for every SID (Structural interior design) and FF&E (Furniture, furnishings & equipment) item to be delivered ahead of when it’s needed on site.
This work cannot be underestimated, when you consider every element that makes up the interiors of your home or business, that’s a lot of orders to manage and schedule.
Again, we have custom software that keeps this process thoroughly organised and specified. Clients who have tried to do this themselves have become incredibly overwhelmed. Forgetting crucial orders that then has a knock-on effect of delaying their build.
On large projects our ten step Luxury interior design process divides the SID products from the FF&E items. SID items are directly related to the build, whilst FF&E are the prettier items that come into the project at the end or can be staged if there are budget constraints.
Luxury Interior Design – Install & Styling.
You know the phrase it’s all in the detail? That’s because it is and highlights the importance of this final stage. This final stage sees us unpacking and installing all the final design items. Adding accessories, artwork, window treatments and beautifully styling them around each space so that when you walk in on the final day, the result is breath taking.
Projects are long and can easily loose momentum. It is so common to see a space that is unfinished because the client simple runs out of steam.
