How it works
We’ll walk through your space together and talk through any design challenges you’re facing—whether it’s a tricky layout, uncertain colour palette, or achieving a cohesive look throughout your home. However, you choose to use the time is completely up to you.
Before the visit, we ask clients to share any plans, images, or inspiration they have. During the session we “Walk & Talk” through each space and offer actionable advice. For option 2 – we collate detailed notes which we share with you after our consultation.
If you’re after a focused, practical injection of design expertise, this is a great place to start.

What happens during a design consultation?
Your consultation is a focused 1.5 hour session designed to give you instant clarity and direction. We’ll walk through your home together, discuss any design challenges or ideas, and offer creative, practical solutions. You’ll gain expert advice you can start implementing straight away.
How do I prepare for the consultation?
Before we visit, we ask you to share any photos, videos, floor plans, or inspiration images you’ve collected. This helps us understand your style, goals, and the specific areas you’d like to focus on so we can make the most of our time together.
Do I receive written notes after the meeting?
Yes — if you choose Option 2 (1.5 hour session which includes follow-up notes) you’ll receive a detailed written summary of everything we discussed, including our design suggestions, tips, and some product links.
What kind of issues can we cover in the consultation?
Almost anything! From choosing paint colours and refining your layout to sourcing furniture or solving tricky spatial challenges. We can also advise on lighting, window treatments, or how to mix existing pieces with new ones for a cohesive look.
Is this service suitable if I’m planning a larger renovation?
Yes — a consultation is often the perfect first step. It can help you define your style, priorities, and scope before committing to a Full Service design project. Many clients begin with a consultation and later transition into our Full Service design package.
Can we meet online instead of in-person?
Absolutely! If you’re outside our local area or prefer a virtual session, we can conduct your consultation via a video call. You’ll still receive the same level of professional advice and follow-up notes, if requested.
